We are working exclusively, with an Accountancy and Financial Services firm based in Glasgow who are looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join their growing team.
What you'll do
Working as part of a team, getting to know clients, their businesses and how they work
Interacting with clients to collect all the necessary data and information to carry out the audit
Support the planning, leading fieldwork, managing performance and keeping leaders updated
Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas
Increase your technical and business skills in areas such as revenue, costs, financial instruments and tax
Analysing the data that goes into a financial statement to make sure it is accurate
Building and maintain productive working relationships with clients
Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues
What you'll need
Proven experience as an Audit Senior or Senior looking for your next step into Management
ICAS, ACA / ACCA qualified
Knowledge and experience of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards (UK and Ireland)
Aware of WIP and fee targets
Experience of motivating junior team members
Forward-thinking with a drive for continuous improvement
Excellent planning and organisational skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Self-motivated, with strong project management skills
Excellent problem solver
Effective communication skills
