ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Lead Software Engineer for our Digital Payments Team, you will lead a team of engineers to build and scale systems that move money reliably, securely, & at high volume. You will own key integrations with payment vendors globally, leading projects end-to-end from technical design through delivery. You will drive cross-functional conversations while coordinating across engineering, product, and external partners to ship new payment initiatives

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the delivery of key initiatives, while guiding the team on best engineering practices

Develop & support .Net Core & .Net Framework REST APIs & Microservices

Write clean & scalable code using standard software design patterns & best practices

Mentor and develop your team, promoting continuous improvement and quality delivery

Design & integrate third-party services into our application to support business needs

Collaborate with multiple teams & developers to meet project deadlines

Analyze opportunities for improvements in our application & process flow

Translate business requirements into technical specifications & a plan for delivery

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

7+ years of professional experience as a .Net Developer or any comparable object oriented programming language

3+ years leading teams deliver complex initiatives & core projects

Proficiency with .Net Core, C#, Python, Java, SQL Server, & Git/Azure DevOps

Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, relational databases, & SDLC

Experience with debugging, performance profiling, & optimization

Ability to efficiently manage time when working on multiple tasks - working independently or together with team members

Self-motivated, team player, with efficient communication

Willingness to prepare technical documentation that can be used for the development team
