Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Up to £50,000 per year Monday to Friday | Full-Time Company Van ProvidedWe are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter to join our team as a Field Service Engineer, covering Devon and Cornwall.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the road and has experience installing, maintaining and repairing machinery within manufacturing and food manufacturing environments.The RoleYou will travel to customer sites across Devon and Cornwall, including food factories and manufacturing facilities, carrying out a range of mechanical engineering duties, including: Installing and commissioning machinery and equipmentDiagnosing faults and carrying out repairsPlanned and reactive maintenanceServicing and maintaining manufacturing machineryWorking within food manufacturing environmentsWorking directly with customers on siteEnsuring machinery is operating safely and efficiently What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Field Service Engineer or similarExperience working with machinery in a manufacturing, production or food manufacturing environmentStrong mechanical fault-finding and repair skillsExperience with machinery installation and maintenanceAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadOwn tools requiredFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel throughout Devon and CornwallLevel 2 Food Safety/Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to complete the training provided What's on Offer Salary up to £50,000Monday to Friday – no weekend workingCompany van providedFood Safety Level 2 training provided if requiredVaried field-based roleTravel across Devon & CornwallWork with a range of manufacturing and food production machineryLong-term career opportunity with an established business If you're an experienced mechanical engineer looking for a Monday–Friday field-based role with a company van and a salary of up to £50,000, we'd like to hear from you.
