Engineering Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop the engineering workshop team to deliver high quality repair and overhaul services for industrial motors and associated equipment Ensure full compliance with all HSEQ policies, procedures, and safety standards across workshop and Insite operations. Manage workshop performance to achieve P&L targets, including revenue growth, gross margin, and operational efficiency. Act as a senior technical and operational contact for customers, delivering effective solutions and maintaining strong client relationship. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean processes and best practice engineering standards. Allocate engineering resources effectively to maximise productivity, service delivery and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and operational teams to support business growth, customer visits, and development of new opportunities. Key Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop engineering teams. Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering repair operations within an industrial environment. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing workshop performance, KPIs and financial targets. Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with customers, stakeholders, and cross functional teams. Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
