The Opportunity

As an Autonomous Systems Engineer , you'll play a key role in designing, developing and integrating advanced control and autonomy capabilities. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams of software, systems, aerospace and robotics specialists to deliver innovative solutions for some of the UK's most exciting defence programmes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop autonomy and control software for advanced autonomous systems

Design and implement algorithms for decision support, navigation and autonomous behaviours

Develop high-quality software using C , ideally C++

Build and evaluate models and simulations within synthetic environments

Support system integration, verification and testing activities

Participate in experimental trials across the UK and internationally

Collaborate with engineers, researchers and customers to deliver operational capability

Contribute to research and development activities across autonomy and uncrewed systems programmes
