Production Supervisor Location Holme-on-Spalding-Moor

Salary £35,000 per annum

Shift 7:30am - 4:30pm, working weekends with 2 days off during the week

Job Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business within the mushroom production sector. This role would suit an experienced Team Leader, Production Supervisor or Senior Production Operative who is looking to take the next step in their career and progress into managing a larger team.

Working a Monday to Sunday shift pattern, you will be required to work weekends, with two days off during the week. You will be responsible for effectively planning and organising the workforce on the production line to ensure maximum production output, while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be hands-on and confident leading a team, with the ambition to progress into managing a larger team in the future.

Key Responsibilities Effectively plan and organise the workforce on the production line to ensure maximum production output

Ensure all Hygiene, Health & Safety rules and procedures are followed by all operatives

Ensure all operatives comply with quality and good manufacturing procedures

Ensure production KPIs are achieved

Drive efficiencies within the production line and department

Effectively communicate company information to all operatives on the line

Ensure the packhouse and associated areas are maintained to a high standard using a clean-as-you-go approach

Ensure pre-production start-up checks and end-of-shift checklists are completed daily
