Pertemps are working in Partnership for a Global Leader for an Electrical Maintenance Manager for our client who is the largest supplier of industrial gases and related equipment in the UK. The successful candidate will be managing the electrical resources to support both onsite and off-site operations. Based at their site in Port Talbot

Key responsibilities to include:
Electrical Maintenance Management:
for managing an effective electrical maintenance program supporting all aspects of production on-site and off-site.
continuous, reliable, and efficient operation by overseeing maintenance activities.
plants for maintenance and inspection by executing physical isolations (up to the limit of job holders' authority) and LV/HV electrical isolations across all sites.
and ensures proper equipment restart after maintenance completion.
Resource Competency and Training:
that internal and external electrical resources have appropriate competency, authorisation, training, and skills.
resources can identify and remedy plant faults and obtain monitoring information as needed.
Maintenance Planning and Budget:
all electrical maintenance planning activities (
the use of in-house and outsourced resources.
for meeting maintenance and overhaul budget targets.
Plant Reliability Enhancement:
plant problems by rectifying defects.

Safety and Compliance:
Ensures that all plant, machinery, and equipment are operated and maintained efficiently and safely according to standards, procedures, and applicable statutory regulations.
Emergency Preparedness:
Participates in local site preventative measures and subsequent actions during emergencies and abnormal conditions at the main Margam site and satellites.
Equipment Inspection and Feedback:
and checks operating plant, machinery, and electrical equipment as required.

As required, participates in an on-call rota to support production operations at Margam and satellites by responding to plant trips and emergency situations.
As the Electrical Maintenance Manager
You will have a Recognised Electrical Qualifications
Recognised apprenticeship, NVQ3 (ONC) or HNC in an Electrical discipline
General Electrical Engineering Knowledge:
Be familiar with general electrical engineering practices and feel comfortable working with both high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) equipment.
Specialise in Process Plant Electrical Equipment:
Your expertise should lie in process plant electrical equipment.
Assessment, Review, and Approval Skills:
Skilled in assessing, reviewing, and approving work related to electrical systems.
Previous COMAH Site Experience :
Experience working on COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) sites is valuable.
Health and safety:
Good understanding of current Health, Safety and Environment legislation (IOSH or NEBOSH certificate preferred).
