Stock Control Manager

About the role:

Create daily and weekly plans as required

Drive and encourage cross-functional working to maximise efficiencies, whilst improving service levels

Regularly achieve resource targets against budgets. Delivery of routine KPI targets

Support the site to maximise stock levels and product availability

Holding regular team briefings to communicate important information and employee appraisals

Ensure that all team members have the relevant skills and knowledge in order to carry out their duties.

About you: your experience and background

Experience in a management/supervisory role in a similar environment

Experience of creating operational plans management

Experience of Health & Safety management

An understanding of workplace Health & Safety procedures

Experience of holding employee performance reviews, appraisals, Return to Work Interviews, Investigations, Attendance Review Meetings, Disciplinaries and Grievances

Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees company wide.

To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing. This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
