Learning Support Assistant
Location: Rochester (Must be a car driver due to location)
Contract Type: Full time- Monday to Friday - 08.30am to 04.30pm
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: Competitive
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide support for our students in our SEN setting. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in a child’s educational journey and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with specific learning and developmental needs
Assist with daily routines
Support social, emotional, and academic development
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for learning
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with young children, preferably in an SEN or school setting
Understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies
Patient, empathetic, and adaptable with excellent communication skills
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or equivalent) desirable
