Description

Alphonsus House are looking for an Administrator to join the team on a part-time basis. Hours to be worked Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Alphonsus House – £13.45 per hour – Part-Time 30 hours.

Alphonsus House, Oldbury is a residential service supporting 18 males and females with a learning disability or mental health needs. It is located near the town centre and is accessible by public transport, with a nearby bus stop and Langley Green railway station within walking distance, providing links to Birmingham and Wolverhampton. The M5 is also easily accessible. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

What you'll be doing

You'll be part of a dedicated team supporting the smooth running of the service/hospital. While you won’t provide direct care, your administrative support will help create a safe, welcoming, and well-organised environment for residents/patients, staff, and visitors. Your contribution will play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the service.

  • Provide administrative support, including documents, diaries, payroll, recruitment, and general office tasks.
  • Handle enquiries, prioritising and directing requests appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with policies and compliance requirements.
  • Support efficient administrative processes and identify improvements.
  • Help ensure effective use of resources and support the service’s objectives.

Previous work experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical, educational or other appropriate background.
