Job Description

Experience

  • Field based Sales Experience and/or in practice dispensing experience

Experience – Essential

  • Field based Sales Experience and/or in practice dispensing experience

Experience – Preferable

  • Managing a sales region
  • Industry experience working with ophthalmic lenses
  • Dispensing experience and/or dispensing qualifications
  • Technical experience in manufacturing

Specific Skills/Qualities Required

  • Results orientated, determined to be the best sales person
  • Good relationship builder
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Persuasive and professional personal style
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (Written, Verbal and 1to1 and group)
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Good knowledge in the optical market or similar industry e.g. pharmacy, medical
  • Competitive team player
  • Smart professional appearance
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent administration skills

Qualifications – Essential

  • GSCE Maths, English + 4 others C or above.

Qualifications – Preferable

  • A Level’s & Degree, ideally in dispensing optics
