Collaborating effectively within a team to deliver exceptional services for students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Contributing to the advancement of progressive residential programmes.
Addressing intricate needs with innovation and initiative, demonstrating adaptability and introspection.
Ensuring outstanding teaching, resource allocation, and student progress.
Ideal candidates will possess:
Experience in assisting young individuals with special educational needs, particularly in the realms of social, emotional, and/or mental health.
Providing personalised support for personal development.
Implementing interventions to support academic, behavioural, and social advancement.
Advocating for individual student progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Requirements:
GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in English and Mathematics.
Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
Overview of the Role:
Work with a mixed special school catering to students from Year 4 to Year 11 experiencing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Diagnoses include ADHD, ASC, PTSD, PDA, ODD, and Attachment Disorder.
Many students have faced disruptions to their education.
