-Technical Solutions Architect-Remote, but must be based in Scotland-Daily Rate - £500 via umbrella-6 months initially-ASAP StartBrand new, long-term contract opportunity to the market for a seasoned Technical Solutions Architect, working on a large-scale project for our public sector client. You will work on a long-term programme of work, designed to upgrade the current digital technology estate - with the anticipated length of this contract up to a maximum of 3 years.This is a remote role; however, candidates must be based in Scotland due to the nature of the assignment. Candidates must also be able to achieve and maintain NPPV3 and Security Clearance (SC).Responsibilities:Undertake upgrades/decommissioning of unsupported applications across the IT estatePatching / Obsolescence FrameworksBuild in Automation by implementing new toolsProvide consultation on all non-functional, architecture, and design decisions.Ensure enterprise architecture is developed consistently and aligned across projects and programmes.Lead solution architecture activitiesCollaborate with stakeholders and suppliersAbility to translates business requirements into technical optionsAct as Technical Design Authority and provides architectural governance and oversightEnsure solutions meet business needs and transition smoothly into production.Evaluate new technologies and provide architectural recommendations.Provides technical leadership and quality assuranceThe above is not exhaustive.
