Role DescriptionFocus on Health & Safety methods in manufacturing areas, driving improvements and continuously working on best practicesEffective and regular communication with staff and peers to maximise manufacturing efficiencySupporting direct reports to ensure safe and efficient practicesImplement or developing robust training programsOversee apprenticeship programs offering the best training and coachingDevelop methodology to measure engineering performanceFull responsibility for departmental spend on resources (projects, labour, materials, capital equipment)Real time performance measurementsOverseeing and developing a CMMS to deliver analyticsOngoing coaching and development of staff for Continuous ImprovementSkills and QualificationsMinimum 5 Years manufacturing experience within an engineering leadership roleTrack record of successfully managing and developing teams and individualsExperience in developing a robust Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Experience in applying CI / Lean principles in a manufacturing settingProject Management experienceIOSH: Managing Safely qualification / Occupational Health & Safety qualification (Preferred)Company InformationAs a business our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
