First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join an established and growing company in the Edinburgh region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to defence industries world-wide.
This role will work closely with the Maintenance Technician, and you will be expected to work with minimal supervision, across the business premise, with a high quality of care.
What's on Offer:
Hourly wage between £18-18.4/hr
4 Day working week.
Permanent Position from Day one.

Duties will Include:
Maintenance and repairs of Plant equipment to the highest standard.
Ensure cost effective use of energy and general company facilities.
Ensure all department policies and procedures are maintained, communicated, understood and adhered to.
Maintenance and repair of all production plant equipment (CNC Machinery, Overhead Cranes etc.) and services on site including offices, kitchen and toilet facilities.
Electrical Installations/upgrades/remedials (lighting repairs etc.)
Emergency light testing/PAT testing/Thermal Imaging
Essential skills, experience and knowledge requirements:
The successful candidate must have:
Served a recognised apprenticeship and have obtained a qualification in an electrical discipline to a minimum of SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
A current electrical qualification in electrical installations, for example City and Guilds 2382 or BS7671 (18th Edition).
Be a timed served electrician.
Have a good understanding of Electrical drawings.
Have a good all-round knowledge of electrical maintenance.
Be able to work under pressure and being able to use your own initiative.
Be a good communicator with a helpful and flexible approach/ proactive in self-learning and development.
The ability to work as part of a team.
