Job Description

Paralegal - Commercial Property - Guildford

Our client is seeking a Paralegal to join their Commercial Property team, providing support to fee earners and helping to deliver an excellent client experience. This role is ideal for someone organised, proactive and looking to build their experience within commercial property law.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting fee earners with a wide range of commercial property transactions and matters

Preparing correspondence, reports and legal documents, including leases, licences, completion documents and digital dictation

Managing client files from opening through to completion and post-completion processes

Liaising with clients, tenants, landlords, lenders, surveyors and other third parties in a professional manner

Assisting with acquisitions, disposals, lease grants, lease renewals and refinancing transactions

Conducting property searches, reviewing title documents and assisting with due diligence exercises

Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications and supporting completion formalities

Using the case management system and maintaining high document and file management standards

Supporting wider administrative and departmental activities as required

Skills & Experience:

Law Degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification is essential

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident communicator with a client-focused approach

Good IT skills and ability to manage competing deadlines

Proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team

Ability to handle multiple matters and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
