An experienced Bar Manager is needed to join a prestigious hotel based in Shropshire. This is a superb opportunity to play a crucial role which involves managing and leading a team to deliver high standards of customer service in a hospitality setting.

Reporting to the Directors the Bar Manager will have numerous key responsibilities. These include rota planning, team training, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring profitability, utilizing in-house systems, promoting business through repeat customers, identifying growth opportunities, enhancing the customer experience, driving revenue through upselling, fostering a positive team culture, collaborating on bar menus, contributing to social media content, and establishing a seamless link with an outsourced food operation. Additionally, the role encompasses cellar management, stock control, pipe cleaning, and overseeing ordering and deliveries.
To qualify... Whether you call yourself Bar Manager / Hospitality Manager / Team Leader Hospitality Operations / Front of House Manager or similar we don't mind, as long as your CV demonstrates the following:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Proven experience in effectively leading and managing teams.
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to plan and troubleshoot team rotas effectively.
Ability to communicate with team members, customers, and suppliers.
Ability to handle troubleshooting and problem-solving effectively.
Familiarity with in-house booking, management, and operating systems.
Proven ability to train and develop team members.
Understanding of financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control.
This is a 5-day working week of 45 48 hours/week.
