Interim Compliance Manager
Location: Cambridge (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
Contract: 6 Month
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected organisation seeking an Interim Compliance Manager to join their established compliance function on an initial six-month contract.
Looking for an experienced Compliance professional with a strong background in Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), sanctions compliance, and wider regulatory requirements.
The Opportunity
Reporting into a senior compliance leader, you will support the delivery and ongoing development of the organisation's global compliance programme. The role has a particular focus on:
Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC)
Modern Slavery compliance
Sanctions compliance
Ethical business practices and governance
You will act as a trusted adviser to stakeholders across the organisation, providing practical guidance on compliance risks while ensuring policies, procedures and controls are effectively embedded.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and continuous improvement of compliance programmes and frameworks.
Provide advice and guidance on anti-bribery, corruption, sanctions and modern slavery risks.
Deliver compliance training and awareness initiatives to employees and stakeholders.
Assist with compliance risk assessments and monitoring activities.
Review high-risk third-party due diligence assessments and recommend appropriate actions.
Support investigations relating to potential compliance breaches or ethical concerns.
Maintain accurate compliance records, reporting and audit trails.
Build strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted compliance partner.
Monitor regulatory developments and emerging best practice within the compliance space.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong knowledge of the UK Bribery Act and related regulatory frameworks.
