The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established compliance and building services organisation seeking an experienced Fire & Security Supervisor to oversee the delivery of fire safety, security, and compliance-related maintenance programmes across a large residential portfolio.

This is a leadership position for a technically competent professional with extensive experience in fire safety systems, security systems, contractor management, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will provide operational and technical oversight, ensuring maintenance, inspections, repairs, testing, and remedial activities are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

The role combines people management, technical leadership, customer engagement, and compliance oversight within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Performance Management Lead, motivate, and develop a team of engineers, technical operatives, and field-based supervisors.

Conduct regular one-to-one reviews, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.

Identify training requirements and support professional development across the team.

Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused working culture.

Operational Supervision Manage day-to-day delivery of planned preventative maintenance, inspections, reactive repairs, testing, and remedial activities.

Coordinate engineers and specialist contractors to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.

Monitor work quality, productivity, and performance against agreed service standards.

Assist with scheduling, resource allocation, and workload planning.

Technical Compliance Act as the senior technical point of contact for fire and security maintenance matters.

Provide guidance on fault diagnosis, compliance requirements, technical standards, and best practice.

Support maintenance and servicing activities relating to: Fire alarm systems

Fire extinguishing equipment

Smoke ventilation systems

Emergency voice communication systems
