We do not have sponsorships available** ** Flexibility and the ability to work a minimum of 30 hours a week is essential for this role** Hours of work Days (Apply online only) hrs and Nights (Apply online only) hrs flexibility required.
Drivers with a UK Drivers Licence and 12 months UK Driving experience is required ( with use of the family's car )
Key Care & Support are looking for an experienced and passionate Support Worker to join our team to Support Sammy in the family home based in Altrincham
Minimum of 2 years experience supporting adults with enhanced needs. " Sammy" has Learning Difficulties, multiple medical needs, non verbal, uses I pad to communicate and hand signs, can make needs known. You will be positive, person centred and committed to highest standards of care and support. Must be flexible to cover days and nights Key Care & Support are looking for a skilled and values- driven Support worker to join the team to support " Sammy " a 26 year old man to enable him to live a meaningful, active and fulfilling life, while leading a staff team to deliver high quality, person-centred support. Sammy has a great sense of pride in his appearance and a wide range of interests. He responds well to positive relationships, encouragement and consistency. Sammy enjoys staying active, spending time in the community and taking part in social activities such as live music events, discos and karaoke nights. The role involves: Ensuring support is proactive, respectful and focused on quality of life Ensuring a consistent and reflective approach Understand why behaviours occur and respond in ways that reduce stress and promote well-being Work collaboratively with Sammy's family and professionals You will support Sammy to develop skills, make choices and have a strong voice in decisions about his life, routines and activities Sammy enjoys many activities, these include, swimming, karaoke,using swings and rocking chairs, jet washing the car, simple food preparation and baking, walks, visiting Barton Aerodrome, listening to music, visiting the Trafford centre, visiting museums and galleries and café's, walks on the beach and watching TV.
