The role will involve planning and delivering lessons to full classes with the support of Teaching Assistants within lessons. Another key part of the role will be to build positive relationships with pupils and other members of staff to ensure challenging behaviour is managed in a positive, proactive, and consistent manner.It is a brilliantly supportive, inspiring, and enjoyable environment for both Pupils and staff. This is a role that will give you the opportunity to make a difference to the lives and progress of children every day.This role will involve:
Planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress.
Differentiating lessons to suit the needs and learning styles of all pupils.
Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner
Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils.
Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress
Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
Working effectively with Teaching Assistants to deliver inspiring and varied lessons.
This role requires:
An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
QTS and Primary Teaching experience.
Experience of short, medium and long-term planning
Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
A positive and resilient attitude towards Teaching and work
Experience of Teaching within the UK
A genuine passion for Teaching
Strong organisation and communication skills
A commitment to CPD
