Design Engineer (Multi-Utility) – Hamilton, Glasgow
Join a leading utilities company that champions innovation and service excellence. At Last Mile, we take pride in delivering high-quality solutions across the multi-utility sector. Our Design team is growing, and we're excited to welcome a talented Design Engineer (Multi-Utility) to join us.
As a Design Engineer (Multi-Utility), you will play a key role in reviewing and approving network designs across gas, electricity, water, and heat.You'll ensure compliance with industry, legislative, and company standards while providing technical oversight, supporting commercial and operational teams, and driving efficient design acceptance processes.
This role will ideally be based in our Hamilton, Glasgow office, but we are also open to candidates based in our Gloucestershire, Warrington, London, or Cardiff offices.

Your responsibilities as a Design Engineer (Multi-Utility):
Manage and review a portfolio of multi-utility design submissions, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry standards, and company policies for timely acceptance.
Maintain accurate project documentation and produce KPI/management reports to support business objectives.
