As the Head of Supply Chain, you will have the opportunity to contribute to their success by managing and optimising their supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including demand forecasting, procurement, inventory management, and distribution
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate actions to optimise supply chain efficiency and minimise costs
Lead a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and integration of supply chain activities
Evaluate and select suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for process improvements
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in the retail industry
Strong leadership and people management skills
In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practises
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in using supply chain management software and tools
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Experience implementing supply chain optimisation initiatives
Knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics
Familiarity with lean and Six Sigma principles
Technologies:
Supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA, MRP)
Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
