What is the role?
Sheffield City Council are looking for a Furnished Tenancy Officer for the next 2 – 3 months, you r role will be to deliver a frontline customer service to Furnished Accommodation tenants and carries out Deed of variation, pre quit negotiations and other administration duties.
What are your responsibilities?
To assist the Furnished Operations Officers in gathering information to achieve a successful procurement framework.
Arrange recharges for damage and loss of council assets and property.
Manage council assets in furnished properties, by carrying out and completing relevant administration duties.
Report any Safeguard, system warning issues to an approved referrer.
Give Customers a positive impression of yourself and Sheffield City Council.
Adapt methods of communication to meet the needs of Furnished Accommodation Tenants.
Manage an effective and reliable customer service. Ensure that furnished tenants receive an excellent standard of customer care and efficient service delivery.
Identify areas for improvement by contributing in meetings, including minute taking.
Ensure that administrational duties are consistent, accurate and to a high standard.
Manage the planning and organisation of your workload to minimise customer inconvenience.
Assist in the quitting and letting of Furnished Tenancies in line with Housing Policy and processes.
Contribute to working relationships with team members, other members of staff, outside organisations and members of the public.
What skills do you Need?
Must have ideally Furnished Tenancy Officer / Housing experience.
Excellent People skills, as you will be speaking to the public, other members of staff and senior managers.
Strong IT skills, as you will be using word and excel and inputting important information on systems.
Excellent Telephone manner
