We are currently working with local authorities within Blackpool who are seeking additional tutoring support for their students in Maths, English and Science.
Role: Tutor (Face-to-face / Online)
Start date: As soon as possible
Online pay rate: £20.00 per hour
Face-To-Face pay rate: £25
We're excited to connect with dynamic PGCE and QTS Teachers looking to embark on or further their career in education. It's advantageous if you have an active DBS on the update service, or are prepared to obtain one.

Primary Responsibilities:
Design customised lesson plans to suit individual student learning styles
Monitor student progress, pinpoint areas needing improvement, and document achievements using our in-house reporting system
Conduct interactive sessions accommodating diverse learning needs
Aim for tangible outcomes in each session to assess effectiveness
Collaborate effectively with educational and care professionals to ensure student support
Adhere to KCSIE and safeguarding protocols
Desired Experience:
Prior experience in tutoring individuals or small groups requiring extra educational or pastoral care
Openness to constructive feedback and supervision
Familiarity with inclusion units, special education, or alternative provisions
Experience supporting students with SEN, undiagnosed SEN, disengaged youth, or looked-after children
Your Role:
Demonstrate subject expertise and tailor curriculum, crafting individualised lesson plans
Track student progress, identify areas for enhancement, and document achievements
Aid students with assignments, test prep, research, and other academic tasks
Help students grasp classroom concepts effectively
Contribute to student development and learning
Foster a growth mindset in teaching and learning
Collaborate with schools, foster carers, and social workers to provide personalised support
Adhere to KCSIE and safeguarding guidelines

Proficient IT skills, including access to a computer, audio, and video
Reliable broadband and internet connection
