If you are an experienced Plant Fitter/Engineer, with experience resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on heavy plant/industrial equipment, apply now for an immediate response! The job youll do: A hands-on Lead Engineering role diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy plant equipment. Provide expert technical support to the engineering team and act as the main Technical specialist Training and mentoring younger team members Diagnosing and repairing diesel-based systems Attending escalated issues at customer sites as required (on average once per week, primarily at sites in the North East) About you: Experience working with a wide range of heavy plant equipment/machinery. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant engineering discipline (plant maintenance, land-based engineering etc.) Knowledge in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues. Expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel-based systems Knowledge of fabrication is desirable Strong diagnostic skillset across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
