Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Site Manager to join their team on a large multiroom construction project in Leeds. This exciting opportunity involves overseeing all external works of the project, including brickwork, curtain walling, facade, and roof installations.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise all aspects of external works, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate and oversee brickwork, curtain walling, facade, and roof installations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to construction standards.
Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to coordinate deliveries, schedules, and resource allocation.
Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, including conducting regular site inspections and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
Monitor progress and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process.
Provide regular progress reports to project management highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager, with a focus on external works and relevant experience in brickwork, curtain walling, facade, and roof installations.
Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid certifications are essential.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and coordinate a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations related to external works.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities to meet project deadlines.
