PART TIME - Data Entry Clerk - Langley Job Type: Permanent, Part-time (30 hours per week with potential to increase to full-time)
Location: Langley
Salary Range: £24,000 - £28,000 FTE
Our client is seeking a meticulous and organised Data Entry & accounts clerk to join their team. The role encompasses data entry for logistics, administrative tasks, and some accounts work, primarily using a manufacturing ERP system. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to thrive in a busy environment.
Day to Day of the role: Booking in supplier delivery notes and stock movements.
Raising works orders and finished goods bookings.
Posting stock movements related to rejects.
Matching purchase invoices to orders and delivery notes on our ERP system and posting purchase invoices & credit notes.
Reconciling supplier statements.
Maintaining query lists.
Preparing and processing bi-monthly payment runs.
Sending sales invoices and statements.
Sending payment reminders to customers and conducting first-line credit control.
Managing monthly petty cash and expense journals.
Data entry for annual stocktake.
Resolving queries in a timely manner and dealing with internal and external queries.
Performing admin and ad hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Numerate and computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience in an Accounts Payable or logistics department is ideal.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
Highly organised, persistent, and thorough.
Effective communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude.
Knowledge or experience in a similar role is desirable.
Enthusiastic and dependable with a strong work ethic.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
