The Role
This role reports to our Head of International BD and the purpose will be to manage all aspects of sales – for direct individuals, teachers and Distributor sales - delivered across RSL Awards’ international markets.
Key Responsibilities
To drive and deliver annual sales plans for each target source market. Working with the Head of International Strategy, internal stakeholders and international distributors to build regional market development and recruitment strategies
Manage all aspects of enquiries and sales from assigned and team markets.
Work collaboratively with the existing Distributor network to seek out and develop new opportunities for growth within key accounts
Lead new Distributor acquisition, onboarding, activation and performance management.
Create opportunities for sales meetings and presentations overseas on behalf of RSL Awards Ltd.
Provide market intelligence and performance to business stakeholders in order to support strategic developments, including updates on sales progress and forecasts.
Produce records of sales visits, meetings, training sessions and activity with clients
Attend weekly catch-ups and other update meetings with Head of International Strategy and other senior members of staff, in person or virtually.
Maintain up to date knowledge of all RSL products and services.
KPIs
Grow total examination numbers in line with agreed monthly and annual targets.
Generate cold and warm leads and progress as appropriate with input from the international distributors, where necessary.
Liaise with colleagues regarding prospective opportunities from assigned markets.
Maintain up-to-date CRM records
Make corporate visits on behalf of RSL when visiting assigned markets, and attending relevant exhibitions and conferences, where appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following experience and key competencies:
Experience
Essential:
Reporting to the Head of International Strategy, the successful candidate will be an internationally experienced professional with a proven track-record in B2B lead-generation and selling to a range of education-related stakeholders with a consultative approach to selling
Proven experience in building, contributing to and executing growth strategies.
The candidate will have the ability to maximise business through the existing customer base, building strong lasting relations.
Creative and ambitious, they will be a thought-leader in their approach to differentiating RSL Awards against others in their market.
Desirable:
Experience or an education within or an interest in music or performing arts is desirable
Connections to education-related stakeholders, government bodies and associations
