HGV Class 1 Driver

DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV 1 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Middleton, Manchester.
Our client opened for business in 2003 and is managed by an experienced team that is focused on working efficiently keeping costs low so that customers enjoy a reliable trade product at unbeatable prices. They have over 500 stores nationwide, open early til late, 7 days a week. They are one of Britains fastest growing suppliers of tools, accessories and building supplies to the trade, home improvers and self-builders.
This role is potentially temporary to permanent.
Duties:
Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently
Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance
Deliveries to Tool Station stores
Requirements:
A paperwork induction will be required
Current CPC Licence
. Current Digital Tachograph Card
An effective team member who works well on their own initiative
Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable
Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
Hours:
. Days - Monday to Friday (start times can start between 6am to 9am)
Nights - Monday to Friday (start times can start between 6pm and 10pm)
Remuneration:
Days - £16.00 p/h - £24.00 Overtime
Nights - £17.00 p/h - £25.50 Overtime
