Job Description

Teaching Assistant

Contract: 12-month fixed term, part time, term time only. Position available for 4 days per week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Salary: £21,257.48 - £23,232.69 (pro rata: £17,005.98 - £18,584.82) Location: Huddersfield

Role Responsibilities

Support one pupil or a small group (maximum six)

Support the classroom teacher during lessons

Report on progress and concerns, liaising with school staff

Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips

Assist with lesson planning and preparation

Set work and mark where appropriate

Build positive relationships and support learning outcomes
