The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a temporary basis, with flexible full-time and part-time opportunities available. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support pupils aged 3 to 19, primarily with autism, adapting their approach to individual needs and helping pupils to engage with learning, develop independence and access the school environment.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with autism or additional needs
• Experience working with children or young people in an education or care setting
• Confidence supporting pupils across a wide age range, from 3 to 19 years old
• A patient and supportive approach
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
• A flexible and positive attitude
