Position Information
Chantecaille UK is seeking an exceptional Sales Manager to drive strategic commercial growth through a service-led coaching style. In this role, the Sales Manager will be accountable for the overall sales performance across multiple counters within the market. The ideal profile will be a strong coach who is able to adapt their leadership style to develop retail teams across multiple sites to deliver outstanding service against the retail plan. The Sales Manager sould have genuine excitement and love for Skincare, Colour and Fragrance, Luxury Retail and exceptional customer experiences to ensure we are working towards aligned goals
Position Responsibilities
In partnership with the Director of Sales Education, develop and drive the commercial strategy for region where key performance indicators are aligned to drive the overall brand growth strategy.
Effectively manage the P&L within allocated budgets to affect a profitable performance for the area.
Maximise sales performance by ensuring effective use of reporting to support commercial decision making,
Ensure plans are executed effectively and efficiently to maximise sales opportunities through promotions and discounts.
Adapt business plan to changing market conditions taking into account business trends and external factors to optimize sales opportunity.
Collaborate with relevant internal departments, retail partners and peers to create and execute a door-by-door strategy to drive traffic, conversion and cater to the needs of the local consumer, aligned with the Brand Strategy.
Lead Counter Managers to always deliver excellent standards to include product presentations, displays, messaging, pricing, and review during store visits.
Maintain inventory Management procedures ensuring inventory is managed to optimise business opportunities. Create a communication approach to build excellent retailer relationships and collaborate with the retailer to ensure success
Monitor and report back to the Head Office Operations team on stock levels to optimize performance. Communicate within the store's stock department, hosting regular meetings to review opportunities. Take action to ensure stock packages are adequate, maximising sales opportunities
Attend monthly meetings with Heads of Departments to ensure clear communication between field and Head Office providing proactive feedback to Head Office
Own the talent development and coaching of your retail teams to exceed targets, upskilling and empowering Counter Managers to develop high performing Beauty Consultants.
In collaboration with retail teams conduct needs assessment for training for the region, devising a plan to implement training solutions aligned to drive selling behaviours beyond new product launches.
Promote a culture of individual accountability and openness to received feedback to enhance product performance.
Position Qualifications
Leader, confident in leading and developing managers and teams
years in sales and management experience in retail and/or consumer service, luxury preferred
track record in leading and coaching retails teams to performance
in multi-site management with concrete measurable achievements
commercial mindset, strategic and analytical skills, solution orientated mindset
in facilitating and executing retail training programs
communication skills both verbal and written, able to inspire and motivate to action
capability in Microsoft Office (including Excel & PowerPoint)
(80%) to UK regional and European retailers and teams s required for counter visits, hybrid in office schedule
in English, French or additional European language is a plus
