Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate technical activities across engineering teams, suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Act as the primary technical interface between engineering functions and delivery management, supporting project execution throughout the lifecycle.

Manage technical risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change requests, ensuring appropriate escalation and mitigation actions.

Support the development and maintenance of project plans, technical roadmaps, schedules, milestones and delivery forecasts.

Facilitate technical reviews, governance activities and milestone assessments to ensure programme objectives are achieved.

Coordinate engineering inputs into artefacts, deliverables, reporting and lifecycle management activities.

Track project performance against scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification within an Engineering, Systems Engineering or related Technical discipline.

Demonstrable experience delivering complex engineering projects or technical work packages within Aerospace, Defence or other highly regulated environments.

Strong understanding of project planning, dependency management, risk management, issue control, forecasting and technical governance.

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams, suppliers and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Proven ability to manage technical delivery whilst balancing scope, schedule, quality and business objectives.
