CONTRACTS MANAGER THE COMPANY
Our client is a well-established specialist main contractor with an outstanding reputation within the care sector, delivering high-quality care home developments across the UK.
The business has extensive experience within the sector, having delivered more than 100 care home projects and thousands of beds, with a significant pipeline of further developments.
They work closely with some of the UK's leading care operators and provide an end-to-end service across design, engineering, construction and project delivery.
Their portfolio consists predominantly of high-quality, modern care home developments, with projects typically ranging from approximately £5m to £12m+, alongside a strong pipeline of future schemes.

CONTRACTS MANAGER THE ROLE
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing 23 care home developments simultaneously, with responsibility for projects from the early design and pre-construction stages through to completion and handover.
This is a highly client-facing role, requiring someone who can confidently manage relationships with clients, design teams, consultants, subcontractors and internal project teams throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing 23 care home developments simultaneously
Taking projects from design and pre-construction through to completion
Acting as a key point of contact for the client throughout the project
Working closely with design teams, consultants and subcontractors
Managing programme, quality, health & safety and overall project delivery
Leading and supporting project and site teams
Managing subcontractors and the wider supply chain
Attending and leading client and design meetings
Monitoring project progress and ensuring key milestones are achieved
Identifying and resolving issues proactively
Ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and required quality standards
Overseeing commissioning, completion and handover
CONTRACTS MANAGER ABOUT YOU
We are specifically looking for a Contracts Manager with strong experience within care home construction.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience delivering care home developments
Experience taking projects from design/pre-construction through to completion
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
Excellent knowledge of construction programmes and project delivery
Strong subcontractor and supply chain management skills
The ability to work effectively with design teams and consultants
Strong leadership and communication skills
A commercially aware and proactive approach
Main contractor experience
Relevant construction qualifications
Full UK driving licence
Genuine care home experience is essential for these positions. You will need to understand the specific requirements and complexities involved in delivering care developments and be comfortable managing projects from initial design through to final handover.
CONTRACTS MANAGER WHAT'S ON OFFER
£75,000 £85,000+ basic salary, depending on experience

CONTRACTS MANAGER LOCATIONS & TRAVEL
West London Managing projects across the West London region.
Regional travel is expected as part of the role, with Contracts Managers required to attend project sites, client meetings and other locations across their respective regions.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
