The Role
Superb opportunity to join an award-winning leading law firm that offers specialist quality legal advice to a broad range of Private Insurance Clients.
The firm is recognised across the UK for its outstanding client care and high-quality lawyers.
Due to the development and expansion of the firm’s Casualty Team, it is now seeking to appoint a Solicitor to work alongside its existing Casualty Team dealing with Employers and Public Liability claims.
The role will involve handling a varied complex EL/PL litigated caseload; including dealing with interlocutory proceedings, CMCs and client meetings.
The ideal candidate will have experience of defending litigated claims with excellent knowledge of the CPR and litigation. There is a steady flow of new instructions from existing clients and the firm is seeking a motivated, technically strong lawyer with ambition, who can develop relationships and provide an exceptional level of service to its clients.
The Candidate
A 0-2 year PQE solicitor, preferably with experience of defending litigated claims
Willingness to present cases in court
Excellent knowledge of the CRP and litigation
Ability to influence a broad range of people including key decision makers
Excellent organisation skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent IT skills
Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
High standard of verbal and numerical reasoning
The ability to analyse, evaluate and communicate information logically is key together with proficient IT skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts.
