Job Title: Class 2 Driver - Refuse Wagon Driver Location: Farnham Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour + £2.11 holiday pay = £19.61 per hour total Shifts: Monday to Friday (06:00am - 15:00pm) Driver Type: Class 2 - refuse driver Experience: 12 months class 2 experience - essential Contract : Temp to Perm Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Farnham to work with our client, whoprovide all types of business with commercial waste disposal and recycling. Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial. Employee Benefits: Competitive Salary: £17.50 per hour + £2.11 holiday pay = £19.61 per hour total Immediate Starts: Begin earning immediately Weekly Pay: Payday every Friday Overtime Opportunities: Boost your earnings Career Growth: Excellent opportunities Hours: Monday to Friday working Shift time: 6.00am 15:00pm Roles & Responsibilities: Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle Collecting refuse from different local areas each day Working with a loading crew (handballing) Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users Completing vehicle checks at the start and end of your shift All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures. About you: You will need to be reliable, punctual and safety conscious. You must be comfortable working as part of a team and assisting with physical/manual work when required You must have good communication skills You must have a positive attitude You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations. You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
