Part time Accounts Assistant

Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a business based in North Birmingham.
3 days a week - 24 hours
£27,000 - £30,000 Pro rata
Holidays - 20 + 8 bank
Working for a extremely well established business with over 30 years experience in there field
To undertake the smooth running of the Accounts and process the monthly Payroll, Producing the Monthly Management Accounts, processing supplier invoices and Sales debt allocation. Reporting to Company Directors as required.
Purchase Ledger
Sales Ledger
Payroll - using sage
Complete weekly profit and loss spreadsheet
Liaise with external accountant regarding month and year end
Prepare VAT as required
Monitor customer invoices, working closely with sales and admin
Process online payments, refunds, card payments and cash
Person requirements
Accounts/booking experience
Sage experience would be an advantage but not a must have
Ability to prioritise
Be able to use own initiative
