CNC Milling Programmer/Operator/Setter -Perm-Oxford-£40k-£50kWe are recruiting for an experienced CNC Milling Programmer /Setter /Operator to join a modern engineering and manufacturing business producing complex, high-quality components.The Role of the CNC Milling Programmer/Operator/Setter -You will be responsible for the programming, setting and operation of CNC milling machines, working from engineering drawings and producing components to high standards of accuracy and quality.Key responsibilities of the CNC Milling Programmer/Operator/Setter include -Programming, setting and operating 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machinesOnline programming using Heidenhain controlsReading and interpreting engineering drawingsSelecting tooling and optimising machine setupsMachining large and complex componentsInspecting and measuring your own workWorking to tolerances specified on engineering drawingsMaintaining high standards of quality and achieving right-first-time productionSupporting continuous improvement and efficient manufacturingWorking safely and maintaining an organised working environmentThe ideal CNC Milling Programmer/Operator/Setter will have:Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer Setter OperatorStrong experience with HeidenhainPrevious 5-axis milling experienceExperience working with larger componentsGood understanding of engineering drawings and machining processesAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and qualityGood communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude considered.Experience with Fanuc controls and a variety of CNC machine types would be beneficial.You'll be joining a professional, well-organised manufacturing environment with modern CNC equipment and a strong focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.
