People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Halesowen and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for stable, ongoing work, excellent earning potential and long-term career progression.

This role would suit applicants who have worked in a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver.

Rates of Pay:

£15.50 per hour

Earning potential of up to £1,000 per week

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday

Start times between 05:00 and 06:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:

Safely operating Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations

Completing up to twelve multi-drop deliveries per day

Loading and unloading vehicles safely and accurately

Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any defects

Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations

Completing delivery paperwork accurately

Communicating effectively with transport teams, customers and site staff

Supporting with handball duties where required

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:

Valid UK Category C Driving Licence

Valid CPC Card

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD convictions)

Reliable, professional and punctual approach to work

Good communication and customer service skills

Strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety regulations

Training:

Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
