Purchase Ledger Clerk

Purchase Ledger Clerk required to join a friendly Head Office accounts team based in Ruddington, south Nottingham.
Our client is a leading retail group consisting of retail stores, garden centres and three transactional websites.
Main Responsibilities for the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
To work hand in hand with the Finance team to deliver accurate and reliable management reporting. Overseeing all purchase ledger activity for legal entities within the Group, including the processing of vendor invoices, matching of purchase orders/receipts, and delivering efficient workflows.
* Collate and obtain approval for all overhead invoices and action payments
* Ensure that the ledger is accurate and up to date.
* Supplier statement reconciliations.
* Preparing bacs payment runs.
* Process expense claims.
* Post ad hoc bank payments
* Other reasonable ad hoc duties
Skills and experience required for this Purchase Ledger role:
* At least 2 years previous experience of purchase ledger
* Able to work well with others as part of a small team.
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* Previous use of SAP an advantage but not essential
