Technical Facilities Service Assistant

Salary: up to £32000 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri

Location: Airbus, Anchorage Road, Portsmouth, PO3 5PU

What you'll be doing:

Repairs & Maintenance: Carry out scheduled and reactive general maintenance tasks, assisting with keeping technical areas clean, safe and operational.

Preventative Checks: Conducting routine inspections, meter readings and servicing to prevent breakdowns.

Portable Appliance testing.

Fire Alarm & Emergency light testing

Completing tasks efficiently and moving between jobs as priorities change.

Responding to service desk requests in line with site KPI's

Completing any reasonable request to support the site operations.

Compliance: Following health & safety regulations and maintaining standards.

Site Support: Support the technical services department escort and supervise contractors on site

What we're looking for:

Ability to pass DBS check

Experience using hand/power tools, ability to complete simple building fabric repairs and maintenance

Experience identifying issues and finding practical solutions with support of the maintenance team.

Dexterity, coordination, and physical fitness.

Communication, teamwork, time management, attention to detail, and self-motivation.

Competence with basic software and documentation.
