Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts & Payroll Administrator to join a supportive and growing finance team, playing a key role in the day-to-day accounts and payroll functions across a varied and rewarding role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Processing sales and purchase invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Completing bank reconciliations and supporting month-end processes.

• Processing weekly/monthly payroll, including starters, leavers, overtime, deductions and holiday pay.

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns and supporting general bookkeeping activities.

• Managing payroll records, pensions, PAYE and National Insurance requirements.

• Assisting with accounts queries and providing support to clients and internal teams.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar Accounts, Payroll or Finance role.

• Experience using Sage 50 and Xero .

• Strong Excel and Outlook skills.

• Good understanding of payroll processes, PAYE, National Insurance and pensions.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• Confident communicator with the ability to manage queries professionally.

• Experience working within an accountancy practice (desirable).
