Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Portishead , near the football club.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity , with the potential to become permanent after 13 weeks , subject to successfully passing probation. (New passes are welcome)
PAY & HOURS £16 per hour

39-hour basic working week

MondayThursday: 7:00am4:45pm

Friday: 7:00am3:45pm

1 hour overtime per day paid at time and a half for when you start at 07:00am when you go permanent.

Earlier starts may be required during busier periods

Temp-to-perm opportunity

THE ROLE Daily responsibilities will include:
Vehicle walk-around checks

Strapping and securing loads

Multi-drop deliveries

Approximately 810 deliveries per day

Deliveries across Bristol, Gloucester, Somerset and Wiltshire

Very, little handball, as you are dealing with steel the majority of loading and unloading is completed by forklift

LOCATION Portishead near the football club
