You will help design, build, and support software solutions using the .NET web and/or desktop stack, preferably in Azure. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working closely with customers and stakeholders, and developing reliable software that helps users do their jobs effectively.Key responsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and support software solutions using .NET technologiesWork with the team to manage the backlog, refine requirements, and deliver high-quality softwareFollow a "you build it, you run it" approach by supporting the products and code you help createCollaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and discuss solutionsContribute to improving team efficiency, scalability, and engineering practices using modern tools and technologiesEssential requirements4+ years of experience in software development, ideally using .NET web and/or desktop technologiesExperience or strong understanding of object-oriented programming using languages such as C#, C++, Java, or PythonFamiliarity with software development practices such as version control, TDD, BDD, or similar approachesAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-driven and eager to learnGood problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and work through technical challengesDesired skills and competenciesExperience with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or cloud-based developmentC++ experience is not essential but would be a plusA Computer Science degree or other relevant qualification, or equivalent practical experience through employment, education, self-learning, or personal projectsCustomer-focused mindset, with the ability to listen, communicate clearly, and respond to requests in a proactive and consultative wayCuriosity, organization, and a commitment to building trust within a supportive team environmentR&D at AVEVAOur global team of 2000+ developers work on an incredibly diverse portfolio of over 75 industrial automation and engineering products, which
