Senior MLOps Engineer - AI Infrastructure

Job Description

Want to build AI systems that directly influence real-world outcomes?

Enjoy solving infrastructure and scalability challenges across ML, NLP and emerging AI products?

Looking for ownership of an AI platform used across a growing customer base?

We're partnered with a mission-led AI company whose technology helps public sector organisations identify vulnerable individuals earlier and make more informed intervention decisions. Their platform combines predictive analytics, machine learning and AI to support frontline services across multiple domains. Following continued growth, they're investing in their core AI engineering function and are looking for a Senior MLOps Engineer to help scale the infrastructure behind the platform. This is an opportunity to join a small, high-impact team where you'll have significant influence over architecture, deployment and platform standards.

Role Summary

As a Senior MLOps Engineer, you'll own the infrastructure backbone that powers the company's AI services, ensuring models and applications are deployed, monitored and scaled reliably. You'll work across predictive modelling, text analytics and future AI initiatives, building the systems that enable engineering teams to ship confidently.

Build and maintain orchestration pipelines using Dagster, Airflow or similar tooling.

Deploy and manage workloads using Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.

Establish robust monitoring, observability and platform reliability standards.

Support the deployment and scaling of machine learning, LLM and text analytics applications.

Salary: Up to £85,000 + 10% bonus
