This rapidly growing organisation is seeking a proactive and analytical individual to join their team as a Data Analyst. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing their data capabilities, setting up analytical environments, and driving informed decision-making processes using tools such as Power BI and SQL.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide support in generating reports and insights.
Utilise Power BI and SQL to analyse data and create dashboards and reports.
Take ownership of implementing and maintaining data processes and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data management.
Lead the implementation of a data warehouse, integrating it into the business and overseeing its management going forward.
Support the growth of the data team by sharing knowledge, mentoring team members, and contributing to team development.
Utilise financial services experience, particularly in handling Credit Risk Assessment (CRA) data, to inform data analysis and decision-making processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven 3-5 years of experience with SQL and Power BI, with a strong ability to manipulate and analyse data effectively.
Previous experience in financial services, particularly in working with Credit Risk Assessment (CRA) data.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into insights that can be understood by the wider business.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to seize opportunities and drive initiatives forward.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
