Restaurant Manager

The Gardener's Cottage are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our small, friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a proven track record of leadership in the restaurant industry, and the ability to inspire excellence in both staff and guest experiences.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction
Train and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff to company standards.
Set and maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, and safety
Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimise costs
Create and maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
Regular stock takes
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume, fine dining establishment
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Knowledge of restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, inventory management)
Pay is calculated hourly at £16 and you will receive a fair share of tips monthly averaging (but not guaranteed) at around £4.00 per hour.
