Solution Architect £85000 - 103000 GBP Bonus, Pension, Benefits Hybrid WORKING Location: Bristol , Manchester, North West - United Kingdom Type: Permanent Solution Architect Digital Transformation, Cloud & Software Architecture Location: Bristol, Manchester/ Hybrid Working Salary: Up to £103,000 + Benefits About the Role We're supporting a leading consultancy as they continue to expand their architecture capability across large-scale digital transformation programmes. This opportunity is ideally suited to architects who started their careers in software engineering and have progressed into architecture whilst retaining a strong technical grounding. You'll work alongside engineering teams, business stakeholders and delivery leadership to define solution direction, shape technology strategy and support the delivery of complex enterprise systems. What You'll Be Doing Defining end-to-end solution architectures across complex transformation programmes. Producing architecture artefacts, roadmaps and technical design documentation. Leading technical discussions across application, integration and cloud domains. Working closely with engineering teams to establish architectural standards and best practices. Supporting technology strategy, delivery planning and investment decisions. Engaging with stakeholders across business and technology teams to drive successful outcomes. What We're Looking For Previous hands-on Software Engineering background. Experience designing software, application and integration architectures. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and solution design principles. Experience working with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP. Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF. Understanding of service-oriented and integration-led architecture approaches. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Consulting or client-facing experience would be advantageous. Why Join?
