Constructing lesson plans and designing long term schemes and programs for the students to advance their learning, ensuring that each lesson is prepared for
Assessing the competence of students regularly, and seeking supportive methods to address any issues
Completing all relavent paperwork and documentation related to training and assessments, in an accurate and timely manner
Acting as a key point of contact and pillar of guidance for students who may have questions and queries relating to the training and/or engineering
Safely and proactively reporting all and any incidents that occur through the correct channels provided
What you will need to Apply: Ideal candidates for this role will have conducted similar tasks within a relevant and comparable role, although this is desired and not essential. Applicants must have a relevant engineering qualification and would also ideally have a subsequent teaching qualification too; however this will be given by the company if not. Solid practical engineering experience, specifically in milling equipment, pillar drills and lathes, is mandatory and essential for this role, and applicants without this will likely not be considered. Highly developed communication skills are paramount in this position, as the job holder will be communicating and teaching people of all ages, upwards of 16 and from various backgrounds. Any previous classroom experience or the proven ability to deliver classroom based training would be valuable. The position holder will need to undertake a DBS registration and disclosure for this role. What you will get in Return: For the successful candidate a rewards package including a base salary of up to £60,000 depending on previous experience and relevant qualifications will be on offer alongside additional benefits which will include a competitive holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays and a strong pension scheme.
